Getting Information During the Conference
In person
The Circulation Desk at the Library main level will be staffed at all times throughout the Thursday-Saturday Program. Library staff will be available to answer questions or point you to session venues. Most sessions have been assigned conveners to help speakers run their sessions, and there will be Information Resources staff available in or near all sessions to help with technical issues.
Online
You can send any questions to events@amicalnet.org. AMICAL members may also use AMICALconnect chat, which organizers will be monitoring throughout most of the conference days.
Online Discussions and the AMICALconnect Forum
Use #amical2014 to tie together our interactions on social media (see the social media announcement from 6 May). For more substantial and persistent discussions, we encourage you to use the AMICALconnect Forum, adding the tag amical2014 to any new conference-related posts.
Discussion Groups
Discussion groups and other discussion-oriented sessions should nominate a participant to post a brief report to the Forum, so that other participants, and AMICAL members unable to attend, can see what was discussed and get involved in follow-up discussion.
